As we mentioned in a previous blog article, we are officially registered with De Nederlandsche Bank (Dutch central bank). As a result of this registration, an extra change will be implemented on our platform. Namely: wallet address verification.

The verification process

We have added a brand-new functionality where you can add your wallet address to your Anycoin Direct account. By adding your wallet address to your account, you essentially prove that you are indeed the owner of the address and that you have control over your funds. This process can be completed via two methods, namely through ‘Message Signing’ or by providing a screenshot. You don’t need to worry, as our order flow will guide you step-by-step through this process. Besides our order flow, we have also written multiple guides on how to verify your wallet address. Of course, you can always contact our support team who are more than happy to help you with this process. For future orders, you can simply select your already verified address.


Mandatory address verification

Wallet address verification is an optional feature but will be mandatory starting November 17th . In the meantime, we will be investigating and developing new wallet verification methods. We are aware that the wallet verification process may seem like an extra step. However, once verified, the address can be used repeatedly.
