What does the restriction of my account to "Sell Only" mean?

As of March 31st, you will no longer be able to buy crypto via the Anycoin platform. However, you can still transfer your funds and account to Finst or sell the crypto in your Anycoin Vault.

What happens to my funds in the Anycoin Vault after June 9 if I don’t sell them or transfer to Finst*?

  • Customers residing in the EU, Switzerland, and Norway will be automatically migrated to Finst between June 10 and June 30, 2025. You will receive a confirmation email once your account has been transferred.
  • Customers residing outside the EU or the UK cannot be migrated to Finst. If your funds remain in the Anycoin Vault after June 9, 2025, they will be automatically sold at the regular market price and paid out to your verified bank account.

*This does not apply to customers in Germany and Austria. They will be notified once there are changes in our service.

Is Anycoin Direct shutting down?

Yes, Anycoin Direct will shut down in the second half of this year. The Dutch branch of the company, which serves customers across most of Europe, will be the first to close, with a planned shutdown at the end of June.

Our German company, Anycoin Direct GmbH, which holds a BaFin license, will remain active for the time being. German customers can continue trading as usual.

Do you have crypto in the Anycoin Vault? You will receive multiple reminders in the coming months to sell your crypto in time or transfer your account and funds to Finst before the Anycoin platform is permanently closed.

How do I transfer from Anycoin Direct to Finst?

When you are logged in to your Anycoin Direct account, you’ll see a notification at the top of your screen with the option to transfer your account to Finst. Click on the notification and accept the terms and conditions. Within a few minutes, your account and assets will be securely transferred to Finst without any costs.

  2. Read and accept the conditions.
  3. Your account and all assets will be automatically transferred to Finst at no cost.
  4. You’ll receive an email notification once the transfer is complete.

Where can I download the Finst app?

You can download the Finst app from the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store. Please note that the Finst app is only available in Europe, and you need to be physically located in Europe to download and log in.

When can I transfer to Finst?

To ensure a smooth migration, the transfer service will become available in phases. We will notify you by email and in the Anycoin Direct platform as soon as the transfer service becomes available for your account.

How long does the transfer take?

Transferring your account to Finst only takes a few minutes. In some rare cases, it can take up to a few hours. You will be notified by email as soon as the transfer is completed.

I have completed the transfer. When will my Euro balance and crypto be credited to my Finst account?

As soon as the transfer is complete, your funds will be available in your Finst account. In most cases, the transfer is finalized within a few minutes. In exceptional circumstances, we may need a little more time to process everything correctly. Therefore, we ask for your patience; it could take up to a few hours. If you do not see your assets after a few hours, please feel free to contact Finst’s support team at support@finst.com.

What happens to my personal data when I use the transfer service?

All necessary account information will be transferred to Finst. Anycoin Direct will not immediately delete your personal data but will retain it in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. How can I log in to Finst?

The email address you used for your Anycoin Direct account will also be the email address you use at Finst. Download the Finst app to access your new Finst account.

I already have a Finst account; can I use the transfer service to transfer my assets to Finst?

Yes, if your Finst account is under the same name and email address as your Anycoin Direct account, your assets will be credited to your Finst account automatically when using the transfer service.

What should I do if I don’t have a verified IBAN?

If you want to withdraw your euro balance from your Anycoin account and you don't have a verified IBAN, then you first need to add and verify your bank account via this link. The bank account must be in your name, as you’re only allowed to use your own private bank account or credit card with your Anycoin Direct account.

Can I download my transaction history?

You can download your transaction history in your Anycoin Direct account. If you make use of the transfer service to Finst, you will receive an email with your full transaction history in Excel format before your Anycoin Direct account is closed. Please note that your transaction history will not be transferred to Finst.

Are there any costs associated with the transfer service?

The transfer service to Finst is free.

Can I transfer my funds from the Vault to another wallet?

You can transfer your coins from the Vault to your Finst account via the transfer service or withdraw them to your bank account after selling them. For security reasons, it’s not possible to send coins from the Anycoin Vault directly to another external wallet. After transferring your account to Finst, you will be able to deposit and withdraw your cryptocurrencies from your Finst account.

What happens to my credits when I switch to Finst?

Credits are discounts that you can only apply to orders at Anycoin Direct. By using the Transfer Service to Finst, your account with Anycoin Direct will be automatically closed, and any outstanding credits will no longer be available. Therefore, if you want to use your accumulated credits, make sure to apply them to transactions before using the transfer service.

What happens to the cryptocurrencies that I hold in my Anycoin Direct account and Finst does not support?

Finst currently supports 240+ cryptocurrencies. However, the following cryptocurrencies cannot be migrated to Finst:

  • Waves (WAVES)
  • Aragon (ANT)
  • DFI.Money (YFII)
  • STEEM
  • KLAY
  • Ocean Protocol (OCEAN)
  • Phala Network (PHA)
  • Singularity NET (AGIX)
  • IOTA (IOTA)
  • Luna Classic (LUNA)
  • Luna 2.0 (LUNA2)

If you currently hold any of these cryptocurrencies in your Anycoin Direct account, we advise you to sell your positions before transferring to Finst.

Do I need anything to transfer my account to Finst?

If you have verified your ID and bank account with Anycoin Direct, you will not need anything to transfer your account to Finst. If you have not verified your ID and/or your bank account, you will be asked to verify these the first time you log into your Finst account.

During the migration, you will not be able to place orders on your Anycoin Direct account. Your assets are frozen during the migration.

Can I change my account details at Finst after the migration?

If you would like to change your account details after the migration, you can contact the Finst support team to help you with this.

Will my welcome bonus automatically be applied to my Finst account?

Yes, your welcome bonus will be automatically applied to your Finst account.

Is the transfer service to Finst secure?

Yes, we have developed this automatic transfer service in cooperation with Finst, and all data and assets transferred are encrypted using the highest safety standards.

How long do we store your personal data?

Anycoin Direct must comply with national and international regulations, including AML regulations. These rules determine how long we must store your data after the end of the business relationship. Depending on the country you reside in and the type of personal data, this retention period can be 5, 7, or 10 years. After these periods, the data will be automatically deleted. What happens to my account if I don’t have funds in the Anycoin Vault?

If you do not have funds in the Anycoin Vault, your business relationship with Anycoin will be terminated no later than June 30.
